I am old enough to know better and young enough not to care

Since I was young I had fun traveling, when were all together here in the Philippines we always travel to visit a place we never been to. At least now that I could travel on my own I see to it to go to a place Ive never been..

LAGUNA - Pagsanjan, my mother's province Here I enjoyed shooting the rapid while anticipating the well known Pagsanjan Falls
- Calamba, Pansol where the hot springs are found
- Villa Escudero a resort with a man-made falls, here you would have you meal while your feet are soaking in the water
- Hidden Valley; this is heaven for me all those natural resources and a real falls in the resort, pools use running water
- Majayjay; I went there for a field trip in HS I saw the church where they say the priests bones are buried. Then I return for my first real camping trip.

QUEZON - Lucban; I stayed at my friends house during the Christmas season and wow the water is so cold
- Sariaya, beaches here are famous before but I don't think they have maintained it properly

BATANGAS - Batulao, I always enjoyed visiting tagaytay and an added plus I could also visit Caleruega
- Lobo; I when here without any idea how long it will take us until we reach the resort and it was a very long ride. This place is overrated in my opinion.
- Laiya; my sanctuary..near manila yet so peaceful. There are lots of things to do here and I recommend staying at La Luz Resort their service is just superb.

REGION 1 - I've been to several places up there namely Pangasinan, La Union, Benguet, Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte
- Baguio; strawberries!!!
- Vigan; old Spanish-inspired houses are there and my favorite Vigan Empanada (Its a good thing that lately I could by this in bus terminals in manila, yummy!)
- Pagudpod; I think we reach the china sea the ambiance was the best but I didnt enjoy the beach because its deep and full of seaweeds

REGION 2 - I dont know if I still memorize my geography but Im gonna state the places Ive been to up north other than the Ilocos Region
- Nueva Viscaya; we conducted our college thesis there
- Mt. Province, Sagada & Batad; if you want to visit these places make sure your really physically fit its around 14hrs of travel one-way. The majestic caves, landscapes and the freshest vegetables are found there.

PUERTO GALERA - the first time I went here was the best resort we rented owned the whole island. Its just sad that I was young then and I couldnt remember the resorts' name.

BICOL - we stayed in a beach resort however we didnt swim. Most of the time I slept and traveled to various tourist spots there. Mt. Mayon was such a perfect view.

CEBU - the first time I traveled by plane and without any immediate family member. Stayed there for 3 weeks and even manages to understand and speak their language. I traveled with my cousins there and our pass time - tennis. Before this trip I dont have an idea how it was really played. I also learned to drive there and learned to distinguish the value of stones.

BOHOL - stayed there for a day but its worth it all the way. We traveled to almost all its tourist spots except Panglao island and to my favorite cave the Hinagdangan. Its under the surface and there is a spring in the middle. The sunlight coming out of the two wholes above is the only light source.

ILIGAN - the first time a saw my cousins there however I didnt talked to them that much because of language barrier.

SINGAPORE - I stayed there for around a month. I could say Ive visited most of their spots. The most unforgettable experience I had there was playing the hula with the pink dolphins. My sister scolds me after this because I was soaking wet when I went out of the show. I miss the popia, its like a version of fresh lumpia and of course the chili crab.

MALAYSIA - Johor was like Manila specifically the Avenida area. Its just a 30mins bus ride from Singapore and the nearest Pizza Hut.
Kuala Lumpur - seeing Petronas was the best
Genting - its like Tagaytay with 6 hotels side by side and the first time I entered the Casino.

every night as i travel, i pass by beggars of different kinds. those that's old enough to work but doesn't want to. those that are disable in one point or another. those children whose carrying their little brother/sister and this strikes me most. i love kids, i enjoy being with them. their innocence teach me that little things could make somebody really happy. as of now, im regreting the fact that i cant go to Don Bosco Pugad to teach some of them. i have so much to do, but i guess it's still my fault. i have to make time for them but i dont know how. and everytime i see one them in the streets my heart aches.

most of the kids ive been working with, in DB Pugad, are on their pre-teenage years and most of them doesnt know the basic alphabet though i could say they are good in money matters. since i was in high school, ive been actively participating in our school's out reach program. back then we go to squatters area and we distribute some food items. then sometimes we organize a teaching program for housewife of basic crafts or food items that they could sell. and as for me i focus on involing myself in handling daycare centers. i didnt bother me to hold them or play with them even if they seem so dirty.

i wonder why the parents of this children couldnt care less about them. i wonder why the people around them couldnt help. i wonder why people could spend so much in clothings adn luxurius food while they dont even have a slippers or a bread in their table. i wonder how they could live each day like this and still manages to find a reason to smile. i wonder what will they become in the future...would they be addicts, will they be prisoners, will they be government officials, or will they ever get a chance to go to school.

i wonder what the future holds...

Its 7:30am, I'm looking forward to this week I hope I wouldn't receive any bad news again. I'll try to suppress my depression for now. Last Saturday, I received my grade in the paper and though I anticipated it not to be exceptional, I didn't expect it to fail. Quite depressing especially now that I feel that the only thing I'm kindda in control is my schooling. :( I gave up to that damn paper, I don't know what else to do. And I'm right the only thing that eases my so called depression is to spend for myself...so I bought a new pair of shoes, swimsuit, shades, and watched a movie. Haha, then the cycle continues when my credit card bill arrives. Yesterday, I went to my aunt's house blessing. It was fun seeing my cousins and nephews again. It's been a long time since I've been around with kids. I stayed most of the time in the attic where all the kids are. And the food was delicious, a mix of American, Italian, and Japanese cuisine. And now, I'll start my diet...I have to loose 10lbs in 1 month time.

Movies anyone?

Its about merienda time...and I feel so sleepy...I slept late last night because I watched two movies and both were nice. The first one was with hallmark channel, didn't get the title. It was about a mom who was molested as a kid and feared that the same thing will happened to her daughter when she found out that she was meeting somebody online. From then on she started her crusade in arresting those pedophilia online. Then I watch, Nancy Drew, it was my favorite reading material when I was a kid...all those mysteries, and it was such fun. The story was about Nancy's freshman year in college. She uncover the about a girl who was expelled from school because her fiancee suffer from a stroke. The guy is a varsity player and he had a stroke as a result of taking stamina-enhancement drug. She proved that the girl has the best intention for her fiancee and that the school was the one to be blamed. Because of this story Nancy proved to be an excellent journalist.

For the day...

We had a training from our US correspondent and he made our job more confusing than ever. After which we had a meeting to consolidate all those that was discussed. Now we have to put it in writing. Later, I hope to have dinner with Luj and Mel and probably watch 'Love Actually' (they say it's a good movie)

my friend cat ramos introduce me to blog...she told me that this help her remove her stress...so i think ill try it...I hope that this will be useful for me also.

my school life

im currently taking up my masters degree in dlsu. i didn't notice how time flies, until now i couldn't figure out what push me to take this course but then im happy i did it. i met new people...new friends. i wouldn't have stayed if not for them. since most of them are already graduating this april...wish them all the best and i hope they pass the compre exam in one take. i'll truly miss them.

my career life

it SUCKS!!! im in a dilemma whether to stay here or not. its been 4 years and i didnt move a bit. the company couldnt compensate us appropriately. the manager, who looks like nova villa by the way, dont know how to defend us or even listen to us...all she know is how to please the big boss. my supervisor, who totally doesnt deserve the position...i honestly lost respect to her...gives us pile of work. since august 2003 we've been having overtime work because they dont want to hire more employees (part of their cost cutting). however, i could not go out because i need money to pay my tuition and its hard to find a job for me. couldnt get a higher position because im in an entry level and im too young (as what one of my interviewer told me) to handle managerial work. then again i could not take any entry level jobs because i already have masteral units. right now i feel so frustrated and depress because of this. thats why im so thankful for my friends whos always been around to support. this is my life so i have to decide for it.

and for the other parts of my life
.....its just the same as always...
